Over the last ten years most of my work has been as a photographer working in the media. I regularly shoot for publications such as The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Financial Review, covering business, news and features. This has given me extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite producing images for both editorial and advertising proposes, on location and in the Studio, as well as the capability of managing multiple assignment on a daily basis.
Through my work as a photographer, I am used to dealing with a range of design ideas and producing successful work from a brief. I enjoy being challenged and am passionate about creating great visual content. In 2009, Corbis offered me image representation, I have worked with The Fred Hollows Foundation documenting and developing the visual profile of the Indigenous program in the Northern Territory. I also photograph for The Outback Eye Service from the Prince of Wales Hospital, documenting their work across far western NSW and implementing visual projects to heighten the Outback Eye Service profile for both the communities they visit, and professionally across Australia.
I have developed strong communication skills and experience liaising with public relations across many different industries, I have worked with high profile individuals including politicians, Prime Ministers, celebrities and CEOs of major corporations. I have covered all types of events for Fairfax, as well as working for many different companies including Rolls Royce, UBS and Westpac. I have photographed on the red carpet for premieres, covered concerts, fashion week and worked on music videos. I have shot for the Sun Herald social pages as well as many conferences dealing with energy, politics and education.
My personal work has been exhibited in several galleries across Australia including a solo show at Stills Gallery, Sydney. Also group shows at The Art Gallery of NSW, The Gold Coast Art Centre and The Australian Centre of Photography, Sydney.
